Hairdressers on the Move, my last attempt at a hairdresser coming to my home! I have tried a couple of hairdressers now and let’s just say i have not been happy. I rang and made an appointment. At first I was a bit nerves at letting a stranger into my home but when Alicia arrived she had a big smile on her face and an even bigger personality! Down to earth and nice to talk to Alicia made me feel relaxed and comfortable in my own home! Alicia left me looking like a star, I’m so happy with the way my hair looked and felt it was unreal! I loved it that much I made my next appointment right there on the spot!
DonnaI was a client at Alicia’s former salon. Being in the corporate world i do not have time to visit the salon during office hours therefore i was always seeing Alicia after hours usually late at night. By this time i was run of my feet and would much prefer to be at home watching a little bit of TV and having a nice glass of relaxing wine! When i found out that Alicia had started her own Hairdressers on the Move business i was so excited, i booked Alicia in straight away knowing that she was going to come to me. I organised my Mum to come around as well so we could all catch up and have our hair done by our favourite hairdresser, Alicia! It was so convenient we could talk, enjoy a nice relaxing glass of wine, plus i was able to get dinner ready all at the same time. My partner even decided to get a style cut as well. Alicia looked after us all, made us look great and left the house looking spotless. Thanks Alicia, I’m looking forward to next time!

I’m new in town and i needed a hairdresser. I have a little girl and it’s very hard to make the time to visit a hairdresser. Also sitting around for 3 hours when i have other priorities at home. I contacted Alicia, wondering if i would have the same experience as i would if i was in a salon. Alicia came around and blew me away i will never look back or visit a salon again. No sitting around for 3 hours she was in and out, but still looked after my hair in the most professional way, she also entertained my daughter while looking after me! I cannot wait to see Alicia again, even my daughter is asking, when is Alicia coming back mummy? Caring, professional, up to date and experienced hairdresser. I have recommend Alicia to all my friends and family!

I recommend using Hairdressers on the Move for many reasons. I love having exclusivity with my hairdresser. I don't have to wait for her to finish someone else's hair which is important when one has a busy life. I love not having to rush to get to a certain place by a certain time, find parking etc. Alicia is a highly professional hairdresser and I love the styles and colour I receive. I also love the relaxing head massage. I find the whole experience is a far more enjoyable one, a relaxing therapeutic experience, without the strong chemical smells one can experience in a salon.

After having my hair done at home by HOTM. I will not go back to a salon! Having my hair done at the salon I am there anywhere between 5 to 6 hours. I know that when you come over I can block out normally 2 hours in the comfort of my own home with a hairdresser I trust and a time that is convenient with working hours! I look forward to every 4 weeks when I get to have my hair done and a good catch up!

I just wanted to thank you for yet another great colour and haircut. I am always most impressed that not only are you skilled, but you always listen to what it is I want.
I have received many flyers for home hair cutting services – whether they come to you, or you go to someone's home to have your hair cut.
To be honest, although this is a service I definately need ( it is almost impossible to get to a salon with two small children) I have never acted on any of these offers, as they did not look professional. If the flyer doesn't look polished, how will the hair turn out, is the question I have always asked.
Your letterbox advertisement immediately struck me for its finished look and colour. It gave enough information to be compelling. Obviously the person who owned this service cared how their business was projected into the marketplace. The website was a great follow-up examined it closely before calling. Its information was plentiful and well structured, reinforcing that this is a well thought out business.
The way you tackled your marketing campaign obviously showed you are serious about the service to your clients and the success of your business. That's what the customer wants, to know that the person who services their hair needs is a professional.
It is amazing the difference that first impressions can make.

Being in the corporate world, I had always gone to high end hair salons in Sydney city. The salons were gorgeous to be in but the time spent there was way too long for a very busy girl. When I retired from corporate life and started a family it was near impossible to fit in convenient, family friendly, hair appointments so for many years I’d be lucky to get 2 decent cuts per year. I gave up when the last visit to a very popular salon resulted in zebra stripes across my hair due to the inexperienced colorist who was foisted upon me, even though I booked in with the salon owner way in advance. I finally rang a friend who I knew always used a mobile service and she gave me Sara’s number.
Well I’ll never go back to the salon business because now I have found the world’s best colorist, cutter and stylist. So no being passed from one junior to the next. I have the comforts of home and my HOTM stylist books my appointments regularly with me, and then gives me reminder calls, which I appreciate. If it occurs during school holidays then I don’t need to worry about hiring a sitter. And for special occasions I always call Sara, at HOTM, in to make my hair look fabulous, which co-ordinates so well with the make-up and dressing preparations. The flexibility of having a home hairdresser is just perfect.
What I love most is the personal service and sheer comfort of relaxing in my own home – no noisy salons with stressed stylists trying to fit everyone in. And I have one person who looks after my every hair need who is totally qualified and good at what they do. My hair looks even better than when I was a client of the high end salons and costs considerably less. I have never had such great compliments about my hair until finding my own personal stylist.
